Athens LifeTech Park (ALTP) enters a pivotal stage in its development with the launch of Greece’s first private Biotech Incubator in the first quarter of 2026

A new Board of Directors has been formed, composed of distinguished leaders of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, to guide and support the Park’s strategic mission.

Established to bridge scientific discovery and clinical application, Athens LifeTech Park aims to advance drug discovery and development  for the benefit of patients worldwide, by providing a nurturing environment for biotech companies developing the next generation of breakthrough therapies.

Offering state-of-the-art infrastructure and sophisticated R&D support, ALTP’s biotech incubator is designed to advance innovation in a collaborative, cost-effective and globally connected ecosystem.

The new Board of Directors of the Athens LifeTech Park is composed of:

  • Kleanthis G. Xanthopoulos, PhD, Chairman of the Board
  • Eleni Pentafragka, LLB, MSc, Executive Vice Chairwoman of the Board
  • Dimitris Agrafiotis, PhD, FRSC, Board Member
  • Konstantina Katcheves, MS, JD, Board Member
  • Dimitris Tryfon, BSc, Board Member

Dr. Kleanthis G. Xanthopoulos, Ph.D, Chairman of the Board of Athens LifeTech Park stated: “The Athens LifeTech Park marks a pivotal milestone in the evolution of Greece’s health sciences ecosystem, a launchpad for pioneering companies and transformative ideas.
